What programming includes
A control unit is not just a chip: it is a set of files that have to match each other. If a single one is not programmed correctly, the car throws faults that have nothing to do with the original problem.

When it is not worth repairing
We tell you before touching anything. If the part is too damaged, if it has been flooded with fresh water, or if there is nothing left to save, we will not make you spend money on a repair that will fail again. In that case we tell you what the new one costs and you decide.

We read the whole unit, not just one code. That way we see exactly what it has and what it is missing.

We dump your original file before touching anything. That file is your safety net.

We write and check it all landed. If the read-back does not match, you do not get the car like that.

We fit the unit and go out for a drive.

Frequently asked questions
What is the difference between Stage 1 and Stage 1+?
Stage 1 is a conservative adjustment almost any car takes well. Stage 1+ is more aggressive and gives more, but it needs cooling, injectors or turbo in good condition. We tell you which one suits your car.
Can you not legally do Stage 2?
No. Homologation rules do not allow a Stage 2 modification for public roads. Stage 1 and Stage 1+ must be declared to the ITV and are for private use, circuits or enclosed venues only.
Do I lose the warranty if I tune it?
Programming the unit usually voids the manufacturer warranty, because it is a modification. If your car is still under warranty and you do not want to lose it, do not do it yet. We tell you before starting.
How long does it take?
Usually a few hours. If a part has to be ordered or a previous fault solved, we tell you first.
